INTRODUCING THE NEW SOUND OF NIGERIAN ROCK MUSIC - "STAGE ONE"

Just when you thought nothing good could come out of Nigerian rock music, here springs up STAGE ONE - a Nigerian rock band from the city of Jos with amazing talent and tremendous amount of anointing to take gospel music to a notch never imagined.

The four-boy band is committed to doing God's will and touching lives via soul lifting, spirit edifying and motivational rock songs. Their latest single branded "Cry" expresses the advantage "calling up to God in time of trouble" has over "mere crying and sulking". 

"If I cry today, cry tomorrow, things no go change

 If I call your name, life go better, e no go be the same"

The band via their twitter account on February 4, 2012 said, "We're excited to finally release this: Here's Cry by Stage One, Prod. by SizzlePro and Mixed by ESIC Music"

Nuhu Giana (Lead Vocalist/ Acoustic guitarist/ Keyboardist), Yehoshua Odidi (Drummer), Joseph Jawfu (Bass Guitarist) and Kachi Mozie (Lead Guitarist) who make up the rockband all emphasize a personal relationship with Jesus Christ as the most important part of life and they try to give a louder voice to God's perspective on life's issues through their music.
