MONTELL JORDAN - GOD'S NEW GIFT TO GOSPEL MUSIC

For those of us who rocked music in the mid 90s, and those who follow up on old skool music, the name "Montell Jordan" and the sound of the 1995 hit "This Is How We Do It" is definitely not new to you.

Montell Jordan is an American singer-songwriter and record producer with seven LP's and several top charting songs to his credit. He has written and produced hits for Christiana Millian, Deborah Cox, Sisqo's (#1 hit 'Incomplete') amongst others.

In 2010, the now-born-again Christian and R&B Legend Montell Jordan shocked the world by announcing he was officially leaving his music career behind to become a Worship Minister at Victory World Church.
He became a licensed minister on January 1, 2011 and now serves as the worship Pastor of the Church.

Montell has released his first gospel project August 2011 - a heart felt worship CD "Shake Heaven" on the stables of Victory World Music which features the contemporary gospel single hit "Shake Heaven". According to Pastor Montell Jones, "This is the start of a new sound that God is birthing right now in Christian music".

Montell believes it is his responsibility to let the world know about God the same way he made them know about what he liked and loved when he was in the world. "The focus is not on Montell anymore, its on Jesus" said the R&B star turned Minister.
