THE 2012 STELLAR AWARD WINNERS

The 27th Annual Stellar Awards on Saturday January 14, 2012 was indeed a Spirit-filled, hand-clapping and foot-stomping revival as anticipated. It took place at the Grand Ole Opry House, Nashville, USA.

VaShawn Mitchel was the big winner of the night sweeping away six awards of the ten categories he was nominated for, which includes Artiste of the Year and Male Vocalist of the Year. See full nomination list here.

Kirk Franklin also walked away with four Stellars courtesy his latest album "Hello Fear". Other winners of the night include Kim Burrell and Mary Mary who won two trophies each among others.
